SJ Home Care was set up by Stacy Jones-Downs who has over 25 years experience working in care.  Stacy is an enthusiastic carer who loves caring for people. She trained as a nurse in Jamaica, where she worked in a nursing home and as a laboratory phlebotomist.  She aslo qualified as a counsellor at Watford College.

Stacy worked for over five years with large care companies in London where she saw practices that could sometimes be impersonal and unresponsive to the client's immediate needs.  This experience led her to set up her own care business where she could give the kind of empathetic personal care that maintains a high quality of life for people in their own homes.
